yes2wind to launch 'Windipedia'
Posted 17th February 2011
yes2wind are inviting contributions to Windipedia, a new, comprehensive, encylopaedic reference source on wind energy. Originator of the project, John Everett, said:
"Having listened to the recent parliamentary debate about onshore wind, I was appauled at the misinformation being churned out as 'common knowledge'. The time has come to translate the vision I've had for several years of a defintive and accurate information source into reality.
I would like to move onwards from the 'we say this/they say that' model of presenting information to a model that will include contributions from a wide variety of sources within the general public. As such, we will be able to tap into a vast wealth of information that no one individual or organisation would otherwise be able to collate."
Further information about the project will be made available in the near future. Meanwhile, those who would like to contribute are invited to register their interest by contacting yes2wind at:
