Turbines at Fullabrook wind farm ready to create renewable energy again

Fullabrook Wind Farm will be up and running again next week following planned maintenance works.

On May 24 ESB International, the wind farm owners, conducted planned testing of electronic systems at the site. During this testing process an issue arose meaning a replacement component had to be purchase before the wind farm could be re-energised.

The replacement part has now arrived and will be fitted this weekend. The turbines will be turned back on in stages. All the turbines should be operational and creating energy again by July 10.
