This 5 turbine wind farm proposal is located on an old royal navy airbase north of Howden in Yorkshire. The site is in part brown-field and owned by 2 local farming families. The wind farm would be seen with Drax power station in the background. If consented local people will have the opportunity to invest in one of the turbines via a community ownership scheme.
