Watch 'The Wind'

Given the extreme weather events we experienced over the summer, now seems as good a time as any to reprise this excellent short film. The Wind, produced by Julien Temple for Greenpeace in 2001, is a prescient reminder of what faces us when the full effects of climate change start to kick in. It starkly portrays the consequences of failing to wean ourselves off our energy hungry fossil-fueled lifestyle, and shows the contribution that renewable energy technologies can make to mitigate these effects.

Watch 'The Convenient Solution'

We all know that, to stop climate change, we need to stop burning fossil fuels. The government says we need nuclear power to do this. Our new film explains why nuclear power can’t stop climate change – and lays down a better, cheaper, more convenient solution: renewables, efficiency and decentralised energy.
