Why not take the opportunity
to join the first community-owned wind farm project in the South
of England? The launch of the Westmill Wind Farm Co-operative
is taking place from 10am-4pm on 12th June at The Old Town Hall,
in Faringdon, Oxfordshire. Guest speakers from 2pm will include
representaives of Energy4All Ltd, Westmill Wind Farm and Faringdon
Town Council. See pictures of the Co-op, and have your questions
answered. All are welcome.
The wind farm's official launch takes place on
site at 5pm at the Old Airfield, Westmill Farm, Watchfield (next
to the A420). Join in the celebrations as the foundations of the
first turbine are dug - bring a spade and a kite.
